FOR TODAY | 12.09.2018

​ So, while I was busy contemplating my existence on social media and pretty much everywhere (I’m almost through it, I promise), I’ve been trying to find a keyword to resonate with at this point in life, and a conversation with a special someone made me realize, nothing could ring truer to my ears.  RESILIENCE is a truly magnificent gift. In a word, it is toughness. And it is a skill, not a trait, which means all of us have the capacity to be resilient. Resilience doesn’t mean that you are above curling up on the floor in the fetal position, devastated by stress and emotion, covered in tears and snot (well, been there). It just means that at some point, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move on. You believe in yourself, you trust in the Universe, and you bend but you don’t break. You are not defined by your suffering or by what the people who facilitated to put you there say, but instead you find meaning in it and use it as a guide to identify what you need to work on....
